Khreeo Pregnancy Massage Oil

by medicalmassage.co.za

I have produced two oils in the pregnancy range. This is because of the different needs a mother experiences during pregnancy, as well as different essential oils being unsafe for use, particularly in the first trimester of pregnancy. For this reason I have a massage oil for the first trimester and another oil for the for the second and third trimester. These oils are also great great tissue oils as well and fantastic for keeping the skin healthy during pregnancy. At this point both oils are only available in 100ml blue glass bottles.

Khreeo Pregnancy Tissue/Massage Oil Blend (For the 1st trimester) 100ml

Khreeo pregnancy massage oil 1, www.khreeo.co.za
This oil, designed specifically for safe use during pregnancy and is also a great tissue oil. It is a blend of oils that help prepare the skin for demands that will be placed on it in the coming months. Although this oil is designed for the 1st trimester, it is also perfectly safe to use during the second and third trimesters.

Carrier oils are: Grapeseed, Safflower (great for the skin), Jojoba (great for the skin), Calendula (even better for the skin).

Essential oils are: Grapefruit, less than 0.02% of the blend (helps with nausea). Tea tree less than 0.01% of the blend (acts as a disinfectant and preservative). The quantities of essential oils are a tenth of that found in normal massage oils in order to keep it safe for everyday use during the first trimester pregnancy.

Khreeo Pregnancy Tissue/Massage Oil Blend (For the 2nd and 3rd trimesters) 100ml

Khreeo pregnancy massage oil 2, www.khreeo.co.za
As with the 1st trimester massage oil, this oil is specifically blended for safe use during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy. A great tissue oil, this will also help relax and reduce stress.

The Carrier oils remain the same as those found in the 1st trimester massage oil. But because the oils of oils is much less critical in the last 2 trimesters, other essential oils are used to help with the demands pregnancy places on the body and mind.

Carrier oils: Grapeseed, Safflower (great for the skin), Jojoba (great for the skin), Calendula (even better for the skin).

Essential oils: Lavender (very good for relaxing body and mind), mandarin (great for swollen feet), Chamomile (relaxing, lowers blood pressure, great for back ache)

CAUTION: This massage oil is not really suitable for the 1st trimester. Massage of the ankles and wrists is contraindicated during pregnancy, as this may lead to induced labour.
